Israel’s attacks kill hundreds since truce deal took effect on Oct. 10
The office reported 875 violations of the ceasefire, including shootings at civilians, military incursions into residential areas, shelling, and home demolitions. It accused Israel of failing to meet humanitarian obligations, allowing only a fraction of the agreed aid and fuel shipments into the territory.
“This means the occupation has complied with only 10% of the agreed fuel quantities, leaving hospitals, bakeries, and water and sewage stations almost completely out of service, and worsening the daily suffering of civilians,” the statement said.
The office warned of a “deep and unprecedented humanitarian crisis” as Israel continues restricting access to shelter materials, including tents, mobile homes, and caravans, while winter storms have led to building collapses and additional deaths.
Authorities called for the immediate, safe delivery of humanitarian aid and fuel to alleviate the escalating crisis in Gaza. Since October 2023, nearly 71,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 171,000 injured in Israeli attacks.
