Syrian Army Responds to SDF Fire

(MENAFN) The Syrian military retaliated against fire from the PKK/YPG, operating under the name Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in the northern city of Aleppo on Thursday, according to local media. Six people were reported injured in the latest attacks.

A broadcaster said the army targeted the sources of SDF fire in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh districts.

The escalation followed SDF shelling of the al‑Khalidiyah neighborhood, which wounded four civilians, a news agency reported.
