Erdogan Stresses Eradication of Terrorism in Syria
“Türkiye’s support to Syria in many areas, particularly in counterterrorism, will continue to increase,” Erdogan assured al-Sharaa, according to Türkiye’s Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, who issued a statement on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal.
The two leaders also reviewed bilateral ties and current developments in Syria. Erdogan underscored that Türkiye places strong value on Syria’s territorial wholeness, national unity, social cohesion, long-term stability, and overall security.
