Israeli Drone Strike Kills One Palestinian, Injures Another Despite Truce

(MENAFN) A Palestinian was killed and another injured after an Israeli drone strike targeted the central Gaza Strip, in what was described as another breach of the ongoing ceasefire, according to a medical source.

According to reports, the strike hit a bicycle inside the Bureij refugee camp, resulting in the casualties.

Separately, witnesses said Israeli forces demolished several homes in areas under their control in both the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip. The demolitions were accompanied by multiple loud explosions, particularly east of Gaza City and Khan Younis.

Additional reports indicated Israeli artillery fire struck areas east of the Bureij camp, although no further injuries were recorded in that incident.

According to reports, despite a ceasefire that came into effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli forces have continued operations that have resulted in hundreds of Palestinian deaths and thousands of injuries since the agreement began.

The Gaza Media Office stated that 932 Palestinians have been killed and 2,859 injured in near-daily incidents since the ceasefire took effect.

According to Palestinian figures, the ceasefire followed a prolonged conflict that began in October 2023, during which tens of thousands of Palestinians were killed and more than 173,000 injured, with women and children making up a significant proportion of the casualties.
